Usability testing
Our lived experience advisors are passionate about improving information access in Australia. Our advisors can review your product and suggest meaningful improvements based on lived experience of learning disability, low literacy, neurodivergence and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Focus groups
Focus groups can help your organisation meet the needs of people with communication access requirements. Our large network of advisors can help you to develop inclusive and accessible programs, products and services, ensuring your product is truly accessible for the people it is designed for.
Accessibility reports
Work with our team of speech pathologists and communication access advisors with lived experience of disability on your next project. We provide comprehensive accessibility reports including success criteria and strategies to further enhance the accessibility of your program, product of service.
Workplace training
We offer communication skills training to help organisations become communication accessible. Our speech pathologists and lived experience advisors deliver hands-on training, teaching strategies and tools to help you confidently and respectfully engage people with communication disabilities.

Ruby
Ruby is the Director of Embrace Access. She draws on her role as an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist, as well as her lived experience of autism, to create Easy Read and communication-accessible resources that support disability inclusion.

Sundara
Sundara is a passionate disability advocate on our team. He draws on lived experience of a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background and learning disability to help us design Easy Read books.

Neville
Neville is an Easy Read co-designer who brings cultural and linguistic diversity, and a passion for advocating for Australia’s senior community, to his role on our lived experience team.

Jonno
Jonno is a successful sculpture artist and advisor on our team. He draws on his experience of Absence of the Corpus Callosum (ACC) to create accessible programs and products for people with cognitive-communication disabilities.​

Matthew
Matthew is a rare disease disability advocate and accessibility consultant with lived experience. He's passionate about Easy Read, co-design, and making information clearer, more inclusive, and more useful for people with disability.

Grace
Grace is a talented singer, and secondary school student from regional Victoria. She applies her lived experience of being neurodivergent to help us deliver accessible products and programs. ​​

Josie
Josie enjoys spending time with family and friends. Josie draws on her lived experience of cognitive-communication disability to create accessible Easy Read documents for people with reading support needs.

William
William is a co-designer with lived experience of mental health support needs. He is legally blind and works as a Consumer Consultant and Educator, advocating for accessible and inclusive services.

Mark
Mark is a passionate disability advocate and public speaker. Mark draws on his lived experience intellectual disability and low English literacy to create accessible and inclusive written communications.

Our point of difference is that we work directly with the disability community to create and design accessible products and services. In turn, the organisations we support know they are getting an amazing product that is inclusive and accessible for the people it is designed for.
