About our training

Training time: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM AEDT At Embrace Access, we believe communication should empower, not exclude. In this workshop, neurodivergent trainers combine lived experience of autism with professional expertise as senior speech pathologists. Together, they explore why Social Scripts are such powerful inclusion tools while building your confidence and practical skills to prepare them in-house. In this training, you will learn to: *plan and structure Social Scripts using industry best practice *understand your audience, including sensory sensitivities and communication preferences *use accessible language and supportive visuals for different target groups *adapt Social Scripts for different settings, events, and sensory needs *check your work against evidence-based criteria used by autism professionals *apply Gray’s 10 rules for writing meaningful Social Scripts *develop your own Social Script draft during the live online workshop. Whether you’re new to Social Scripts or refining your approach, this hands-on workshop gives you the knowledge and tools to create more disability-inclusive and accessible environments. For groups of five or more, contact us to explore workplace training options—available online or in person, at a time that suits your team. Questions?
